Route of the 3 temples

Guipúzcoa is privileged to have 3 of the most important temples on the Ignatian Way. The route starts in Azpeitia, visiting the Basilica of San Ignacio, continues in Zumárraga, visiting the hermitage of La Antigua and ends in Aránzazu, visiting the Sanctuary of Aránzazu. We recommend doing it by car to be able to enjoy more time in the villages, which have a lot of charm.

Zugarramurdi Caves

On the border between Spain and France is the village of Zugarramurdi, also known as the village of the witches. Right next to the village are the Caves of Zugarramurdi, where the famous Akelarres are said to have been performed. We recommend you to visit the caves to learn a little more about Basque culture and enjoy an exceptional natural monument.
