Cemetery of the English

Urgull is a small but charming mountain: there is a bar, a library, a museum… but one of its hidden treasures among the trees and bushes is the English cemetery, which is oriented towards the British Isles. It is easy to pass by without noticing if you are not looking for it.
Here lie the remains of some of the officers and volunteer soldiers of the British Auxiliary Legion who died between 1833 and 1837, fighting during the first Carlist War in Gipuzkoa.
